Why am I receiving a bill?
If you received a bill from West Hills Pathology Consultants it is for the professional component of pathology or laboratory services performed by our pathologists at UCLA West Valley Medical Center (formerly West Hills Hospital and Medical Center). West Hills Pathology Consultants receive specimens from West Hills Surgical Center, and from various physician's offices. These services may include the examination of tissue samples and/or body fluids obtained by your doctor, or review of a possible transfusion reaction. The professional charges from West Hills Pathology Consultants are separate from the hospital fees (technical charges) for processing of the specimen.
